Water Testing (Legionella)

Legionnella is a form of pneumonia which results in around 250 identified cases a year and can prove fatal, especially to the elderly or those prone to respirable problems.

Legionella bacteria occurs naturally in surface water and soil, but can also occur in environments such as cooling towers, hot and cold distribution systems, water plants, humidifiers and air washers.

Our teams at FM+ will work with your organisation to ensure the risk from legionella is minimised, whether that be by carrying out initial inspections, reviewing and updating risk assessments, conducting routine testing and sampling or advising on control strategies for the future.

FM+ can provide expert water risk assessment services, and reports which are easy to understand, advising on the best solution for minimising legionella risk. We’ll also offer a comprehensive range of services and water safety solutions, as well as regular monitoring of water systems, cleans and disinfections.
